Attention Members.

50th Anniversary Celebration

The 50th Celebration committee (we can always use more volunteers) has met several times and has initiated the following actions:
1.  Moved the celebration event day to Saturday, September 13.  This will move it off of the July 4th weekend and also give us more time to implement a superior event.
2.  Filed an Event Plan with the USFS to ensure our activities do not encounter any restrictions.
3.  The agenda for the Event Day will open at 10:00am with a scheduled dedication ceremony to begin at 11:00am.  We have invited a variety of noted persons to join our celebration and to say a few words as appropriate. The BoD will announce selections for the 2008 PSC Hall of  Fame introductions (see separate article on the nomination procedure).
4.  After a 60-75 minute program, lunch can be purchased from an on-site food-cart vendor.  The club intends to subsidize the cost to the extent we can get donations to do so.
5.  Exhibits of shooting competition equipment as well as booths from gun stores in the area will be available for viewing (no sales transactions however).
6.  Activities for youngsters will be available to occupy their time, and we encourage members to bring their children to the event - they will be the shooters of tomorrow.
7.  Appropriate souvenirs and mementos will be available to commemorate the event, including an Event Program which will contain much interesting historical material..
8.  We are expecting a large crowd and parking will be strictly managed, with vehicles parked on the rifle range and controlled one-way ingress/egress on the entrance road.
Please plan to join us and celebrate our Club’s history and our great Second Amendment freedoms !!

Registration for 2008 NRA Bullseye Pistol League

The PSC 2008 NRA Bullseye Pistol League is open for registration.  We are limited this year to 13 firing positions and just that many entrants.  Preference will be given first to previous league members, then to other PSC members and if any slots are still available, non-PSC members can apply.
Matches are held at 9am on the first Sunday of the month from March thru October.  These are 1-handed, NRA rule matches on precision targets.  There are 2 categories, 22RF and any CF.  Matches will be either 1200 or 1800 points, based on the will of the league members.  I will send registration materials to last year's League members.  If you were not a member of the League last year, contact Terry Liffick, 636-7717, or HTLiffick@aol.com, for registration materials.
